About Us
A Letter From The Founders
We didn't set out to build a yacht management company. We set out, first, to solve a problem we kept hearing about in rooms full of people who had already solved every other problem worth solving, founders, investors who had built and sold and built again. People who, by any reasonable measure, had won.
And yet, in conversation after conversation, the same thing kept surfacing. Not a complaint about money. A quieter one, about time. About how little of it was left over, once everything else had been accounted for.
We started paying closer attention to how the people we admired most actually spent their attention. If you noticed Nvidia's Jensen Huang has worn some version of the same black leather jacket for the better part of two decades — not, by his own account, out of vanity, but because it is one fewer decision to make on a given morning. Give the unimportant choices away, so the important ones get the whole of your focus. It's a small thing. It's also, we think, the whole idea.
